Rechargeable battery, specialy studied for safety, radios controls and important currents (alarms, telephony, solar panels, assistance illumination, etc... Those rechargeable batteries introduce advantages to be airtight, and without maintenance (gelled electrolyte)
The nominal tension of a lead battery is 2 volts by element. The reload of a lead battery is made with a constant tension wich should not exceed 2,3V by element, at a 20 °C temperature.

Lead battery do not have to stay or be stocked unloaded: the minimal tension of a battery should not be below 1,75V by element, otherwise the battery will be subjected to irreversible damages (for example, a battery of 12V 6AH, that ended up a tension of 7V, won’t be able no more to take or keep a charge.)

Do not use cars battery loaders to reload those 12V batteries, because it would destroy them. In case of an uninterrupted use, those batteries has a life of 3 to 5 years. We recommend you the change of battery for an alarm system every 3 years, even if they seems to be in good state. We also comercialize the following rechargeable batteries in 12Vcc:
