This forged note detector has been designed for everyday use (bank, shop, etc.). Its place is behind every counter next to the till. The DP-2000 plugs into the mains and is supplied with a blue ultraviolet tube. Thanks to its UV beams, it detects forged notes when it reflects a blue light. It is delivered with a UV tuba and a 220Cca supply. It is a detector of counter to check the notes and the credit card hallogrammmes. Operation ? For the notes with marks which reacts to UV Set the note under the UV light of the detector: the marks appear under the lights. ? For the notes without mark which react to UV By setting the note under the light, none mark appears and the note’s texture does not change. None filigree is visible. The metallic filigree will be seen in dotted line on the front but not on the back of the note. ? For most of the forged notes Set the note in the detector and it will reflect immediately a very intense and very bright blue light. The filigree and the metallic filigrees will be visible on both side and continuously. It is to note that the forged notes are fluorescent. In case of doubt, check the filigree, the printing must be very clear with well defined colours. If the note is not very worn, it must make noise when you rub it and it must be slightly rough in the printed zones. It must not be limp, bright and waxen. ? Checking You can check the notes, the cheques, the credit cards, the new tickets which have fluorescent printed marks. ? Be careful The detector is made of black plastic, equipped with 1 UV blue lamp. Do not set the device at the height of the eyes in a constant way: this could damage your sight. The life time of the bulbs is between 2000 and 4000 hours.
