NOTA : In most of everyday devices, the 50 or 60HZ frequency doesn't impact on the good performance of the devices. What is important is the voltage.
Never switch a 110V device on a 220V Voltage, overpressure would break it.
It's not advised either to switch a 220V device on a 110V voltage because your device wouldn't work in good conditions.

The frequency is not converted:

For example if you switch a 220/110 converter on 220V 50HZ you'll get 110V 50HZ
If you switch your 220/110 converter on 220V 50HZ you'll get 110V 50HZ
If you switch a 220/110 converter on 220V 60 HZ you'll get 110V 60HZ
If you switch a 110/220 converter on 110V 50 HZ you'll get 220V 50HZ
If you switch a 110/220 converter on 110V 60 HZ you'll get 220V 60HZ
