Waterproof access control system with built-in magnetic badge reader and keypad. This reader allows a double-checking process, only badge, only keypad, or badge + keypad. The keypad is used to programme the reader so that it accepts or refuses a badge number. Access badges are used to control the opening of the door using an electric latch (ref. GAE or GAS). 3000 badges (ref. CMPP) can be used. 2 detection inputs for doorswitch, push-button, relay output, etc. 1 relay output 12Vdc/1,25A to control electric latch. Pulsed opening time (programmable from 1 to 98s) or on/off. Non volatile memory. CPU check to warn of any malfunction. A badge has the advantage of being read at a distance (from 3 to 15cm from reader) whereas a magnetic card must be slid into the reader. Badges are programmed using the built-in keypad and do not need a coder.
