The RG220 is much more than a simple gas leak detector because the metal case contains a mini fire control panel. It has an alarm memory, on/off and pre-heat indicator lights, reset button and a sensitivity adjustment potentiometer. It can detect all types of gas or noxious fumes, natural gas, methane, butane, propane, acetylene, LPG, hydrogen, and is just as suitable for a boiler room as a shop, a house or a flat. The case is designed for wall fixing. The sensor can cover an area of about 60m2. If a gas is detected, the fire panel will give an audible warning. Possible to connect more than one type of detector: temperature detector, smoke detector, temperature + smoke detector, gas leak detector, carbon monoxide detector. It is also possible to connect break glass units, sirens, a telephone transmitter, a rotating flasher and a solenoid valve.
