The YF705 detects when the external temperature is less than 0°C and so warns you of the risk of black ice. A red LED indicates that the temperature has fallen below 0°C. Detection is by a sensor under the bonnet in the front of the car. Possible to calibrate the temperature threshold with an adjuster screw.
