This fire blanket allows you to smother the incipient fire (e.g. in the kitchen when a saucepan catches fire). The size of the blanket is large enough to be effective without being too heavy. The fire blanket is manufactured according to EN1869: 1997 and EN1869: 2001. MAINTENANCE: ? Check the container for damage and the instruction label for legibility. ? Remove blanket from container. ? Examine for damage or fabric contamination. ? Re-fold the blanket as shown below and replace. RE-FOLDING BLANKET: ? Place on a clean surface with pull tapes facing you. ? From each side fold alternately inwards so that the pull tapes finish 50mm apart and the folded strip is slightly narrower than the container. ?Starting at the top fold the strip downward under and over until the folded strip is slightly shorter than the container. ?Replace the folded blanket into the container ensuring that the pull tapes protrude at least 100mm underneath the container.
